Photocure raises awareness at EU Roundtable and Report on bladder cancer
In April 2025 the International Centre for Parliamentary Studies ICPS organized a senior-level roundtable on bladder cancer with leading clinicians, industry experts from Photocure and J&J Innovative Medicine, the European Association of Urology and the World Bladder Cancer Patient Coalition. The resulting recommendations for EU & Member State policymakers are published in this Government Gazette Healthcare Report, (bladder cancer: p. 33) featuring Photocure’s expert opinion:
- Equal access to advanced technologies to identify tumors in the bladder reduces burden on patients and healthcare systems.
- Bladder cancer is one of the costliest cancers to treat
- Precision medicine requires a precise diagnosis first
